A powerful, complex and vibrant wine showing typical McLaren Vale Shiraz characteristics of dark berry fruit flavours, milk chocolate with considerable structure, soft tannins and great length of palate. Appearance: Garnet red with bright crimson hue. Bouquet: Intense red berries, mulberry, plum with delicate notes of all spice, cardamon and milk chocolate. Palate: Layers of vibrant red, berries, blue berries and dark cherry. Underneath the fruit layers enticing hints of milk chocolate, liquorice and spice. The tannins are supple with well integrated oak giving structure, texture and a lovely smooth lingering finish. Vintage Conditions: Low yields, good spring rains, and dry steady summer allowed for good flavour ripening and intensity. Low yields and small berries giving concentrated flavour. The vintage has resulted in wines full of vibrant and fresh fruit flavours with soft and subtle tannins.
